Hello, I’m Denise Zingale, a Bedford resident since 1998 and the small business owner of D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon, Inc., A Certified Green Circle Salon. I am running for City Council to bring practical experience and a steady, solutions-focused voice to city leadership while ensuring residents are informed, heard, and well-served.
For over 20 years, I’ve operated a successful, sustainable hair and wellness salon. That work has required me to navigate the city’s zoning, permitting, and inspection processes at two different locations. I renovated spaces, made improvements, and ensured my business met all building and safety codes.
I’ve worked directly with contractors, architects, and city departments, and I understand how important it is for city processes to be clear, efficient, and responsive.
My ties to Bedford go back even further. In the 1970s my grandparents owned the Gaslight Inn, and I’ve been involved in Bedford events since the 1980s, including participating in the Strawberry Festivals.
I’ve continued to support local efforts and stay engaged in the community. I care deeply about Bedford and want to help move it forward in ways that benefit all residents.
